The new X-22 Irons don’t disappoint and are the best X Series irons Callaway Golf has ever created. By maximizing perimeter weighting, these irons boast an MOI that’s 10 percent higher than their predecessors. The ideal CG position has been preserved, generating optimal ball-flight trajectories.

Model: 4-PW,SW Graphite Shaft Right Handed Stiff
Callaway Golf has always had the same goal in mind when it comes to X Series ® irons — set the performance standard for the industry. The Modified Tru-Bore design has been incorporated, dampening vibration for enhanced feel and the tour-inspired head shape has a slightly thinner topline and sole with a large sweet spot for improved aesthetics and forgiveness that will boost any golfer’s confidence.

Precision Notch Weighting
Positions more weight to the perimeter, raising the MOI for greater forgiveness and stability while maintaining the CG position that produces ideal trajectories with better feel.

Tour-Inspired Head Shape
Design elements designed for Tour players like a thinner top line and narrower sole have been incorporated into these highly forgiving irons that can be played by a wide range of golfers.

Modified Tru-Bore ®
An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance.

Callaway Golf Core Technologies
VFT ® Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 ® increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; 360-Degree Undercut Channel maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilizing the clubhead for more forgiveness.

"The X-22 irons have a redesigned weighting system which redistributes weight and gives the club 10% higher Moment of Innertia for added forgiveness. The new design
also has a slightly thinner top edge and sole for improved aesthetics and a larger sweet spot. The X-22 Tour irons use the same Notch Weighting system to raise the MOI. A sleeker hosel has been added which helps to lower the centre of gravity and move it nearer to the middle of the face. The head shape has also been refined with a thinner top edge."

"I had the pleasure of hitting with the new X22s at a demo day at the PGA store in Duluth,ga this past Wed. I had seen the spy pics of the 22s and felt the "22" on the club made them look cheesy! BUT, they do not look bad at all. I am mid to high handicapper and have just started playing....But, here is my take on the 22. The uniflex shaft is lighter in this series compared to the 20. The sweet spot seems to be larger or at least the ball seems to rocket off the club easier than the 20 due to the small increase of weight behind the club face. The hit of the club seemed to have very little vibration through the shaft compared to the 20. They weren't big and bulky like the big bertha line or nike sumos but had nice forgiving feel to them. So, that's my take on the X22's for what it's worth.
