NIKE SQ SUMO Irons 4-AW Steel user reviews

"I went to a local club fitting professional a couple of days ago and hit at least 8 different sets of irons. These included the new Taylor Made R7 Irons, Callaway X-20, Ping G-10, Nike Sling Shot 4D, Mizuno MX-19, & Nike Sumo Irons.

I must say that I was aiming to get the Taylor Made R7 Irons, but I hit two clubs extremely well….The Ping Irons, and the New Nike Sumo’s. It was a toss up. I hit the Ping Irons well and it was easy to get the ball in the air. The nike Irons were equally easy to hit and they went a full 10 yards longer. The nike yellow insert made a huge difference at impact (less vibration).

I chose to take home the Sumo Irons and am very happy with the decision.

"Very good...but are you going to buy without even trying them out? Most 6 handicappers are very particular. I would not think of purchasing a club or set without seeing how they were for me...regardless of the quality of the club. Good Luck

"I have been hitting the Ping G5 for about two and a half years now. I did not think I would find a more forgiving and longer driver till my golf buddy picked up a demo Sumo and tossed it to me on the range. This driver is all its talkedup to be and more. I'm already a 6 handicap but I see that going down soon. It's nice to have 9 iron or PW where I was hitting 7 iron to 8 iron"

""I've been playing for 4 years now and I have went through alot(I mean alot) of irons. I've owned x20's, slingshots, x16, x18, ping g2's, big bertha 04's (you get the idea) and I have to say these irons suprised the heck out of me. They look, feel, and play better than any set that I have owned. The wider sole takes alittle getting use to for me, but results make me forget. Also, if you have trouble getting the ball up in the air, these will do it. I prefer a lower-penetrating flight, but oh well. Best Irons!"
